Students can avail scholarships directly if they register with JCG for their admission process. JCG provides scholarships of up to 30% on the net tuition fee, based on students’ merit and a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarship for Medicos

Italian public universities offer merit-based scholarships for IMAT passers in Medicine/Dentistry, separate from regional DSU/EDISU (need-based via ISEE). These target top-ranked non-EU students post-exam, covering tuition waivers (€1,000–€4,500/year) or stipends (€5,000–€10,000).

Need Based Scholarship(ISEE)

ISEE Parificato certifies non-EU students’ family economic status for scholarships, tuition waivers (up to 100%), and benefits at Italian public universities like Padova, Bologna, and Rome Tor Vergata. Non-EU students from India submit apostilled/translated family income docs (2 years’ taxes, bank statements, properties) via CAF or uni portals for conversion to Italian-equivalent ISEE, with thresholds like <€26,516 unlocking regional DSU/EDISU aid (€2,500–€6,000 stipends). Deadlines align with June-Oct regional calls for AY 2026-27; prep apostilles via MEA now.

Type C (Short-Stay Visa)

Study Visa

The Short-Stay Visa, commonly known as the Schengen Visa, is meant for those planning to stay in Italy for up to 90 days within a six-month period. It’s perfect for short-term study programs like language courses, workshops, or seminars lasting up to three months.

Type D (Long-Stay Visa)

Study Visa

For those planning to study in Italy for more than three months, a Long-Stay Visa — also known as a National Visa (Type D) — is required. This visa permits stays beyond 90 days and is necessary for students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate programs, research, or other long-term educational courses. Once in Italy, successful applicants must also apply for a residence permit to legally stay in the country for the entire duration of their studies.
